The Journey Begins!

After several months of Josiah asking for a sister then asking for a brother, we have decided to go back to South Korea for a sibling.
Our journey has started a little slower than we had expected, but I keep reminding myself that God is in control and has the perfect baby picked out for our family. I have to daily remind myself to be patient and to wait on His timing.
Our homestudy is done and our paperwork has been submitted to immigration already. We are waiting now for our placement agency to process our application and to send everything to Korea. After that we once again wait for our file to be matched with our baby in Korea. It is hard to say how long this will take because of many changes that are taking place in Korea to increase adoptions within Korea. It is our hope that we will have our baby in our arms sometime next summer.
We hope that you would come on this ride with us, pray with us and encourage us through the process.

  1. Oh my gosh...I am so excited!!!!! You have to keep us up to date with it all. I remember the last time. Praying things go quickly (sure) and smoothly. I can't belive it. I'm grinning from ear to ear and holding back tears so I can see to type. AWESOME
