Today was Josiah's first day back at school. Wow, what a difference a year makes. Last year he cried the first few days and didn't want to go. This year he was ready way early and wanting to know why we had to wait. While we were in car pool line he said, "I'm 4 now you know!" "Yes you are, " I answered. He continued to tell me that because he is so big now he will have to show the 3 year olds in the class what to do. I agreed and emphasised that he needs to be a good example for the new kids.
He is in the afternoon class this year which I think will work out very nicely for me. He is actually there a 1/2 hour longer than the morning class and it is at a time of day that lets me get things done at home while Naomi is napping.
When I picked him up at 4pm he said he had a great day and that he made some new friends.
I'm an old softy but reading and catching up on everything about your family tonight had me in tears. Then I thought of you on that tricycle knees to your chin and I JUST KEPT ON CRYIN!! Sure would like to see you guys sometime soon.
